Job Title: Maintenance Technician Reports To: Department Supervisor Hours: 40 hrs/week + weekends/overtime Pay: $28-31 hr. Location: Naperville, IL. Summary Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and help install production equipment. Job Responsibilities • Diagnose, repair, and maintain plant machinery using hand tools and test equipment. • Electrical experience including working with and troubleshooting PLCs • Perform preventive maintenance. • Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents. • Assist with setup and installation of new machines (air, gas, electrical connections). • Communicate effectively with team members. • Maintain a clean, safe work environment. • Perform other duties as assigned. • Experience with CNC industrial laser system maintenance is a plus. Job Requirements • Formal training equivalent to journeyman-level Machine Repair. • Strong troubleshooting skills. •???Bilingual Spanish desired • Knowledge of ISO9001:2008; hydraulics; pneumatics; electrical systems; stamping, cutting, forming, grinding; welding; blueprint and schematic reading. • Ability to operate metrology tools, cranes, grinders, presses, and related equipment. • Logical reasoning, accuracy, and manual skill. • Strong written and verbal communication. • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience. • High school diploma or equivalent; ability to use advanced math and read complex drawings.
