Triumph Hospitality is seeking a passionate, results-driven Hotel General Manager to lead our newly renovated 118-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Antioch, TN. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Operations • Inspire and motivate your team to deliver best-in-class guest service every day. • Develop, implement, and monitor business plans, budgets, and operational goals. • Lead by example—teach and model service fundamentals and a Growth Mindset culture. • Prepare and present detailed reports and operational updates to Corporate and Brand partners. • Maintain a professional presence with guests, employees, vendors, and community representatives. • Assess departmental strengths and opportunities to enhance efficiency and performance. • Conduct regular competitive market visits and monitor industry trends. Sales & Revenue Management • Partner with Sales and Revenue teams to build and execute strategies that exceed room revenue goals. • Ensure strategic use of key data sources (e.g., STR, Demand 360) to drive pricing and market decisions. • Review performance metrics to align marketing and sales efforts for maximum profitability. Team Development • Participate in recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing hotel staff. • Coach and mentor employees to ensure career growth and engagement. • Implement employee recognition programs to foster a positive and motivated culture. Facilities & Service Quality • Oversee the hotel’s Preventative Maintenance Program and ensure assets are well-maintained. • Conduct daily room and property inspections to maintain brand standards. • Champion continuous improvement in cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. Financial Performance • Monitor property performance relative to budget, forecast, and guest satisfaction goals. • Partner with regional and corporate leaders to align financial, sales, and revenue strategies. • Maintain cost control while driving profitability and operational efficiency. Communication • Participate in regular weekly and monthly meetings with regional and corporate leadership. • Serve as the key communicator for all property staff—delivering honest, timely, and information. Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of experience as a General Manager in a nationally branded hotel (IHG experience strongly preferred). • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. • Demonstrated success in driving guest satisfaction and revenue performance. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Knowledge of revenue management tools, reporting, and sales strategy. • Experienced in group and business transient sales, and digital/social media marketing. • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, as needed. • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel overnight when required. Language Skills • Must speak and write fluent English; Spanish proficiency is a plus. • Able to communicate professionally and diplomatically with guests, staff, and partners.
