That’s why we’re looking for passionate, innovative, solutions-oriented people to join our team. We thrive on providing exceptional customer service and we look for team members with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion to build successful partnerships with our clients. Because at the end of the day our goal is to help our partners businesses run better. As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Triumph, you will partner closely with operations and software engineering teams to build, optimize, and scale a high-performing application environment that supports exceptional client experiences. Our environment is Linux-based, primarily hosted on AWS, and leverages Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. Other technologies include Terraform, Postgres, Ruby on Rails, Redis, C#, and SQL Server. While experience with these tools is a plus, we value strong engineering fundamentals, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset over specific technology expertise. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or similar) to ensure consistency and scalability. Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring high availability, security, and minimal client impact. Implement best practices for containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) to drive efficiency and resilience. Enhance observability, logging, and alerting systems for faster issue resolution and continuous improvement. Participate in a 24x7 support environment (though off-hours work is rare), demonstrating commitment to reliability and client satisfaction. Ensure compliance with SOX and SOC-1 controls in a regulated environment, maintaining trust and integrity. Experience & Education 5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles. Bonus points for experience with: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Postgres, and Rails. High-uptime environments. Regulated environments (SOX, SOC-1). Strong scripting abilities (Python, Bash, or similar). Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Knowledge of microservices architecture and modern deployment strategies. Skills & Abilities Required Experienced: You have managed entire environments, not just single servers. Client-focused: You understand how infrastructure decisions impact end-user experience and business outcomes. Self-directed: You can work independently while prioritizing tasks effectively. Detail-oriented: You measure twice and cut once—only via code. Empathetic: You consider how your decisions impact others on the team and the client experience. Performance-driven: You aim for excellence in reliability, scalability, and speed.
