Position Overview Triton Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Account Lead Medical Billing Specialist to serve as the primary billing lead for assigned client accounts. This role will support providers who utilize AdvancedMD practice management and EHR software as part of their daily billing operations. This is an independent contractor role averaging 30 to 35 hours per week. The ideal candidate is highly detail oriented, organized, self directed, and experienced in full cycle medical billing, particularly within dental specialty practices billing medical insurance. The Account Lead will be responsible for managing revenue cycle operations for assigned accounts from charge entry through payment posting and follow up, while serving as the main point of contact for billing related matters. Key Responsibilities Accurate charge entry and claim submission Clearinghouse management and rejection resolution Medical claim follow up with commercial, Medicare Part B, DME, Medicaid, and managed care plans Appeals and reconsiderations Payment posting and ERA reconciliation Secondary and coordination of benefits billing Patient balance review and communication coordination Aging report management and resolution Identifying underpayments and contractual discrepancies Serving as billing lead for assigned accounts Participating in client meetings and providing billing updates Identifying workflow inefficiencies and proposing solutions Collaborating with Triton departments Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring HIPAA compliance Qualifications Required: Minimum 5 years of medical billing experience Demonstrated experience with full cycle billing Strong knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicare Part B, Medicare DME, and Medicaid Experience with appeals and payer follow up Proficiency with billing software platforms, preferably AdvancedMD Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously High level of organization and accountability Preferred: Experience billing medical insurance for dental, TMJ, orofacial pain, or sleep medicine services Experience working in a remote environment Independent Contractor Details Approximately 30 to 35 hours per week Flexible scheduling with required availability during standard business hours Remote position Competitive hourly contractor rate based on experience Contractor is responsible for their own equipment, internet, insurance, and tax obligations Who Thrives at Triton Professionals who take ownership of their accounts Individuals who think critically and solve problems independently Those who value compliance and precision Team members who communicate proactively Individuals comfortable working in a structured, process driven environment How to Apply Please submit your resume, a summary of relevant billing experience, a list of billing platforms you have worked in, and your desired hourly rate.
