Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Accountable for leading, guiding, and directing the execution of the Trinity Health enterprise integrated information system planning function, which supports IT product strategy, vision, and roadmaps that align with the architecture and technology direction of the business unit, consistent with enterprise priorities. Develops new service strategies and models to meet the information technology needs to support business and clinical operations. Design and implement transition plans for IT consolidation for mergers, acquisitions, and divestiture activities. Serves as the executive-level escalation point to resolve stakeholder concerns, out-of-scope customization, and issues that arise between products and platforms. Oversees and sets guidelines for TIS customer research to enable the product vision. Leads collaboration with the product team to deliver and sustain the end-to-end customer experience. Supports completing and resolving necessary risk assessments for Enterprise Information Security. Direction and Growth Providing advice, guidance, and leadership to SASS Area leadership Knowledge and Process Mastery standardization/systemness and optimization of standards, process, methodologies, etc. establishing a national community of practice. Vendor/Contract Labor Management centralizing strategy and optimizing spend. Strategic Support & Accountability Collaborates in system-wide strategy development and deployment of functional area priorities and initiatives. Responsible for supporting state and regional efforts to comply with functional area priorities. Accountable for the selection, evaluation, and overall success of the functional leadership teams within the region and market Organization-wide focal point for establishing functional strategies and governance over financials and staffing Communication liaison between operational leader and functional leaders Operational Delivery Reporting and Metrics measuring value delivery System Redesign Service responsibilities for the colleague experience Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, state & local laws/regulations, Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program & Code of conduct, as well as other policies & procedures to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical & professional behavior. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An advanced degree is preferred. Prefer minimum of seven (7) years progressive experience in related areas such as Information Systems, Managed Care with at least five years of experience at the leadership level, responsible for leading an IT discipline in a complex, large environment. Physician Practice Management, or acute healthcare, with preference given to individuals with experience in defining and implementing information systems in a multi-location, multidisciplinary environment generally gained by having held similar positions within a major hospital, managed health, or health insurance organization. A general understanding of laws, regulations, and quality assurance standards, which impact health care.
