Trinity Electric Services is a growing, multi-state electrical contractor performing complex commercial electrical work across Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. Our team supports retail, industrial, institutional, and large-scale commercial clients, with a focus on disciplined execution, strong field leadership, and long-term client relationships. As part of our next phase of growth, we are strengthening our leadership team to support expansion into institutional, public-sector, mission-critical, and other high-reliability environments. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced electrical operations leader to serve as Director of Electrical Operations. This role provides oversight of field execution, operational systems, estimating support, and strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate has deep experience in commercial electrical contracting and has supported or led operations within regulated or institutional environments. This is a senior role with meaningful influence on how the company operates and grows. Key Responsibilities Operations & Field Leadership • Oversee electrical field operations across multiple projects and locations • Lead foremen, superintendents, and crews to ensure safety, quality, and productivity • Standardize operational best practices, workflows, and performance expectations • Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, NFPA, and local AHJ requirements Preconstruction & Estimating Support • Support electrical estimating, bid reviews, and project planning • Review drawings, specifications, and scopes for accuracy and risk • Assist with value engineering and constructability input Strategic Growth & Market Expansion • Support company expansion into institutional, public-sector, and mission-critical projects • Assist with prequalification efforts, compliance requirements, and pursuit strategy • Leverage industry relationships to strengthen market presence and opportunity flow Office & Team Development • Help develop and scale project management, estimating, and administrative functions • Improve coordination between field, office, and ownership • Support implementation of reporting, job costing, and operational controls Qualifications Required • 10+ years of commercial electrical contracting experience • Senior leadership experience (Director of Operations, Senior PM, Regional Ops, or similar) • Strong understanding of large-scale commercial electrical projects • Experience managing teams, multiple projects, and operational systems • Excellent communication and leadership skills Preferred • Experience with institutional, government, healthcare, or mission-critical projects • Familiarity with prevailing wage, compliance, or regulated project environments • Exposure to union or PLA projects • Multi-state operations experience • Master Electrician license (a plus) Compensation & Growth • Competitive executive-level compensation • Performance-based incentives • Long-term leadership opportunity within a growing organization Job Type: Full-time Pay: $59,444.66 - $250,000.00 per year Benefits: • Relocation assistance Work Location: Hybrid remote in Sterling Heights, MI 48310
