What You Will Be Doing • Orchestrating the virtual workshop experience by expertly managing digital breakout rooms, facilitating smooth transitions, and supporting dynamic group activities • Igniting student enthusiasm through strategic chat engagement, celebratory recognition, and individualized check-ins that build confidence • Cultivating an atmosphere where students remain focused, self-assured, and socially connected throughout their learning journey • Providing crucial logistical support to lead educators, ensuring workshops flow effortlessly from start to finish • Serving as a cultural cornerstone and trusted ally across our diverse bilingual tracks and specialized interest clubs What You Won’t Be Doing • Delivering academic content or subject-matter instruction • Developing educational materials or evaluating student work • Creating workshop content or independently facilitating sessions • Observing passively—this role demands continuous engagement and energetic participation Virtual Learning Assistant Key Responsibilities Foster dynamic virtual learning environments by empowering students to stay motivated, well-organized, and enthusiastically engaged throughout each interactive workshop session. Basic Requirements • Availability to work full-time (8am - 5pm Monday through Friday) in US Mountain Time zone (UTC-7) • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in youth mentorship, coaching, tutoring, or leadership roles • Educational foundation in US, Canadian, or UK school systems (K-16) with requirement of having attended school in one of these countries (remote work from any global location is acceptable) • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities with strong digital literacy and platform adaptability • Vibrant, student-centered presence combined with meticulous attention to detail and ability to facilitate smooth transitions Nice-to-have Requirements • Prior involvement with virtual learning platforms or youth enrichment initiatives • Experience coordinating or leading extracurricular activities, summer programs, or student organizations About The Novatio School Novatio is Where a Child’s Future is Reimagined Through Personalized Learning This school is the first virtual, bilingual immersion school in Arizona. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $20 USD/hour, which equates to $40,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
