What You Will Be Doing • Conducting engaging virtual workshops that emphasize life skills like creativity, communication, and problem-solving. • Providing one-on-one and group mentoring to help students build confidence, self-reliance, and executive functioning skills. • Leveraging platform data to customize support and monitor student progress over time. • Working closely with fellow educators to design and refine project-based learning experiences. • Fostering a vibrant, supportive environment where students feel valued and eager to grow. What You Won’t Be Doing • Teaching core academic subjects, as AI tutors handle this aspect. • Delivering pre-written lectures or upholding a conventional classroom setting. • Grading papers or preparing standardized lesson plans. Student Success Coach Key Responsibilities Champion student development and readiness for life through leading innovative, real-world learning experiences within a flexible, fully virtual school environment. Basic Requirements • Possession of a valid Arizona teaching certificate. • Experience in teaching, mentoring, or coaching students, ideally in grades 4–8. • A strong virtual presence and comfort with leading sessions via video. • Availability for full-time work, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm Arizona time. • Prepared to start by August 2025. • Enthusiasm for working in a tech-savvy, student-focused educational setting. Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
