They are seeking a Director of Educational Strategy to lead the academic vision, unify execution across diverse school models, and drive systemic change in education using rigorous learning science. Responsibilities • Creating academic frameworks that translate learning science into practical guidance for curriculum, motivation systems, and app design. • Leading academic execution reviews across Heads of Academics to ensure school teams are aligned, accountable, and delivering results. • Synthesizing data, interviews, and observation into academic ecosystem reviews that spotlight the highest-leverage barriers to accelerated learning and propose actionable interventions. • Driving strategic alignment through planning, feedback loops, and milestone tracking to maintain focus on student learning goals. • Representing 2 Hour Learning at the highest levels, from keynote stages to sessions with Ministries of Education, driving systemic change in how the world thinks about school. Skills • 7+ years leading academic or EdTech teams with evidence of exceptional learning outcomes • Proven experience applying AI or technology to accelerate learning • Track record of public thought leadership such as media, keynotes, books, or advising • Strong performance management skills with the ability to hold elite peers to a high bar • Fluent in interpreting data to diagnose learning issues and direct interventions • Comfortable engaging directly with students, parents, and school leaders • Founded or led an innovative school model, lab school, or high-performing EdTech venture • Experience navigating cultural, political, or international education contexts • Deep familiarity with Bloom's 2 Sigma research and other mastery learning frameworks Education Requirements • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field Benefits • Dynamic, on-campus and remote-friendly environment Company Overview • Trilogy acquires software companies and fundamentally transforms them with an AI-first strategy.
