Your work will drive literacy outcomes in individual classrooms while shaping a scalable reading program that can be implemented across multiple campuses. You’ll lead engaging, tech-enhanced workshops, inspire young readers with smart motivational tactics, and collaborate with engineers to refine the tools that power our model. HIRING IN THESE LOCATIONS: • Tampa, FL • Austin, TX • Plano, TX • Fort Worth, TX • Spotswood, NJ • Dorado, Puerto Rico What You Will Be Doing • Delivering adaptive reading workshops that develop foundational skills in phonics, comprehension, and fluency • Designing personalized motivational sessions that boost engagement through gamified literacy milestones • Analyzing student progress data to continuously refine instruction and surface actionable insights • Collaborating with the tech team to evaluate and enhance AI literacy tools based on classroom results • Developing scalable content that personalizes reading pathways for diverse learners What You Won’t Be Doing • Following a rigid scripted curriculum that ignores student needs or data • Spending hours on traditional lesson planning, grading, or administrative overhead • Working in overcrowded classrooms with limited resources • Managing behavior all day instead of focusing on reading instruction • Teaching in isolation without contributing to program or product development Reading Program Coordinator Key Responsibilities Develop a scalable, AI-enhanced reading program that enables early elementary students to achieve grade-level proficiency and cultivate a lifelong love of reading. Basic Requirements • Bachelor’s degree with advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent) • At least 2 years of experience delivering small-group reading interventions to early elementary students • Skilled at assessing reading levels, grouping students, and designing differentiated instruction without pre-written curricula • Proficient with AI/adaptive learning tools and responsive to student behaviors within them • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship • Willingness to work on-site at one of our campuses: Tampa, FL; Austin, TX; Plano, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Spotswood, NJ or Dorado, Puerto Rico. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
