What You Will Be Doing Your role as a Learning and Development Manager will be transformative: • Architect and deliver world-class training programs that elevate our Guides to educational excellence • Design and implement comprehensive Guide Playbooks that become the blueprint for exceptional learning facilitation • Drive continuous improvement through strategic coaching and actionable feedback • Showcase excellence by personally mentoring a select group of students, setting the gold standard for our coaching approach What You Won’t Be Doing Let's be clear about what this role isn't: • Traditional curriculum development - our tech-enabled platform handles the content; you focus on developing extraordinary facilitators • Compromising on excellence - we maintain rigorous standards (yes, 100% mastery means 100%) • Cookie-cutter training sessions - your development programs will be dynamic, interactive, and transformative Learning And Development Manager Key Responsibilities Your core mission is to build and nurture a team of exceptional Guides who will deliver Alpha's innovative learning system with unparalleled excellence. This involves creating comprehensive training programs, providing ongoing development support, and ensuring consistent high-quality implementation across all programs. Basic Requirements The ideal candidate will bring: • Bachelor's degree in any discipline - we value diverse educational backgrounds • 5+ years of proven experience in education, L&D, or coaching • Track record of creating and implementing groundbreaking educational initiatives • Exceptional leadership capabilities with a talent for building high-performance teams • Substantial experience working with students aged 5-18 • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to improvement • Ability to work on-site at either our Plano, TX, or Spotswood, NJ location • Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship About Alpha Want to join a learning rebellion that’s transforming the traditional classroom? The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
