Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Maintenance Technician in New Hudson, MI. working at our client location who is a leading manufacturer. This is a direct hire opportunity with a pay rate of $27.00 to $30.00 an hour based on experience. Shift premium available. This is a 3rd shift position, 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair, preventative maintenance, and factory maintenance within the site facilities. Responsibilities include all aspects related to mechanical operations. Support prompt repair, preventative maintenance schedules, housekeeping and organizational standards. Will update the respective departments regarding the status of all operating equipment. Work with vendors, riggers, and millwrights on proper installation of equipment. Will report to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager. Essential Duties for the Maintenance Technician position: -Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment per guidelines. -Service equipment such as cold headers, heat-treat furnaces, plating lines, high-speed sorters, conveyors, and motors. -Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues promptly. -Follow all Lockout/Tagout and stored-energy safety procedures. -Support and contribute to continuous improvement projects. -Operate forklifts, man-lifts, fabrication equipment, and power tools. -Perform other related maintenance tasks as needed. Requirements for the Maintenance Technician position: -Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment. -Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and servo motors. -Ability to read electrical prints and troubleshoot control circuits. -Experience with CMMS and equipment installation or upgrades. -Familiarity with electrical standards and basic welding/fabrication. -Strong mechanical reasoning and intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred). -High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred (including electrical). -Experience training apprentices is a plus. -Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically.
