The Financial Operations Senior Associate is responsible for financial planning and ensuring compliance with fiscal policies at all levels. As a Financial Operations Senior Associate, you'll analyze payments for contracts with vendors and providers. You will apply your accounting expertise to prepare financial reports and ensure accurate payments by interpreting contract terms.   On a typical day, you might:   * Review expenditures to ensure that they are complete and timely. * Assist in training new staff in systems, processes, and procedures. * Work with the Financial Operations Team on assignments, tasks, and guiding the workflow. * Review processes and procedures to ensure they are operating effectively and efficiently.   * Ensure appropriate reporting to the State for specific programs for tracking expenditures. * Prepare monthly journal entries as needed.  * Review, investigate and correct errors in payables entries, documents, and reports.
