Responsibilities

The Community Liaison Coordinator is responsible for overall coordination and oversight of developing and supporting a community for all members receiving services in assigned regions. This includes assisting with community engagement, consultation, resource management, and coordination of services to best meet the needs of individuals served by various stakeholders.

Requirements

Candidates must have a High School Diploma/GED with six years of relevant experience, an Associate’s degree with four years, or a Bachelor’s degree with two years of experience in Behavioral Health, Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, or Substance Use. A valid driver’s license and residence within specified counties in North Carolina are also required.

The Community Liaison Coordinator is responsible for providing overall coordination and oversight of developing and supporting a community for all members receiving services for assigned regions in the Trillium MCO/Local Management Entity catchment area. The Community Liaison Coordinator assists with community engagement, consultation, resource management, coordination of services, and agencies to best meet the needs of the individuals served by various stakeholders in the community.   On a typical day, you might: * Coordinate and/or support stakeholder meetings and events held in the community or virtually (frequent travel is required).  * Attend staff meetings of partner agencies to explain the changes and updates in the Behavioral Health and I/DD system as well as promote best practices as a Tailored Plan. * Educate other employees and the community at large about services, changes, funding source requirements, eligibility, and service availability. * Work with provider agencies and community stakeholders to encourage the whole person care approach to physical and behavioral health services, person-centered planning process, and provide technical assistance as needed.   Employee Benefits:   Trillium knows that work/life balance is essential.
