Job Description: Technical Lead (Integrated Eligibility & Enrolment/ Medicaid) Position Id: J0925-0090 Job Type: 6-12 months (contract) Country: United States Location: Waterbury, VT / Remote Pay Rate: Open Contact Recruiter: 732-876-7626 Job Description: Trigyn's direct government client based out of Vermont, has a contract assignment for Technical Lead (Remote). The particulars of the position are as follows. Description: The Technical Lead on projects serve the following roles: • Member of the project team; • Serves as the single appointed technical lead on a project team; • Coordinates with the organization as appropriate to answer problems and questions, then report back to the project team; • Participates in project meetings and stays abreast of project vision; • Provides technical support; • Understands and supports Agile and Hybrid development methodologies; • Provides input on team Agile and Hybrid practices; • Researches industry trends and best practices that may be applicable to the project team; • Continuously talk to the project team to convey technical risk, complexity, and sizing for ideas that the team identifies; • Works with the project owner to come up with technically feasible options for meeting the projects needs and priorities; • Supports infrastructure and platform decisions; • Oversees and ensures a healthy release management process; • Responsible for maintaining overall quality of technical solutions; • Coaches and explains technical concepts to the project team to help make decisions; • Coaches other technical resources as appropriate; • Identifies, prioritizes and communicates technical debt and possible risks; • Responsible for ensuing vendor code is reviewed and accepted; • Participates in evaluation panels when selecting vendors, as appropriate; • Supports the project team with answering technical questions and this may be through performing technical sprint/research/evaluation and/or prototypes; • Partners with the project owner, project manager and procurement lead to monitor vendor performance post-award; • Participates in team retrospectives and helps the team continuously improve their practices and processes; • Coordinates and garners tech organizational support; • Unblocks issues that may arise; and • Evaluates and understands vendor markets to assist with acquiring IT modules. The consultant will work with the project team to ensure that all deliverables meet the quality standards as defined by the State including that each project be successfully executed and completed on time, within scope, and within budget using State approved principles as set forth herein. PROJECT DELIVERABLES: • Fulfill role of a Technical Lead on assigned projects. • Lead technical design and technology build, test, and deployment activities. • Apply considerable support / development / implementation experience, deep understanding of underlying technologies, business process expertise and support process knowledge to interact with a broad spectrum of stakeholders during various lifecycle phases. • Coordinate with software vendors to perform investigations on all application issues and provide effective resolutions for same and assist all team members in evaluating technical processes and provide effective interface with vendor partners. • Recommend effective modifications to systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs of operations and determine appropriate procedures for all Information Technology.
