Position: Warehouse Operator I Location: Lenexa, KS (Onsite) Type: Contract Shift details: 2nd Shift (Overnight) Timing: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM 3 nights one week / 4 nights the next (rotating, full coverage over 2 weeks) Hours: 40 hours/week Role Overview The Warehouse Operator I is responsible for end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, shipping, and cycle counting of raw and finished materials. The role also includes housekeeping, basic maintenance, and support for special projects as assigned by warehouse leadership. Key Responsibilities • Receive, store, retrieve, and ship materials accurately • Perform cycle counts and inventory control • Operate forklifts (certification required/obtained) • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards • Follow ISO, GMP, OSHA, DOT, and IATA regulations • Support special projects as directed by the Lead or Logistics Manager MUST-HAVE Requirements (Non-Negotiable) • Ability to pass MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) – mandatory for offer • High School Diploma or equivalent • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly and 50 lbs up to 60 times during a 12-hour shift • Ability to obtain forklift operator certification • Basic math and basic PC skills • Ability to read, speak, and understand English • Comfortable working with chemicals and PPE Preferred Qualifications • 2+ years of warehouse experience • Prior experience working 2nd or overnight shifts Work Environment & Safety • Forklift operation required • Exposure to chemicals (PPE provided) • Steel-toe boots and safety glasses provided by client • No exposure to blood products, animals, lasers, or respirators Ideal Candidate Profile (Quick Screen) • Warehouse experience (inventory, shipping/receiving) • Physically capable of long overnight shifts • Safety-focused and detail-oriented • Forklift-ready and MVR-clear About Trident Consulting: Trident Consulting is a U.S.-based IT staffing and consulting firm supporting Fortune 500 and enterprise clients across cloud, data, engineering, and enterprise technology.
