Trident Consulting is looking for a results-driven Light Industrial & Manufacturing Recruiter with hands-on experience in Non-IT staffing across manufacturing, warehouse, production, and industrial roles. If you thrive in high-volume hiring, understand the US staffing landscape, and enjoy closing roles in fast-paced environments, this opportunity is for you Role: Light Industrial & Manufacturing Recruiter Location: St. Louis MO (Remote) Type: Fulltime: Job Summary We are seeking a Light Industrial & Manufacturing Recruiter to support high-volume hiring for manufacturing, warehouse, production, and industrial roles in the St. Louis metro area. This role is ideal for a hands-on recruiter who understands the local labor market and has experience placing hourly, non-exempt, and skilled industrial talent. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle while partnering closely with hiring managers and operations teams to meet fast-paced workforce demands.. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Sourcing • Source, screen, and close candidates for Manufacturing, Production, Warehouse, Chemical, Pharma, and Light Industrial positions. • Hire for roles including Machine Operators, Production Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, QC Technicians, Warehouse Associates, and Chemical Operators. • Source candidates using Indeed, LinkedIn, local job boards, referrals, and community outreach. • Conduct proactive sourcing through cold calling, networking, job fairs, and workforce partnerships. • Build and maintain strong local talent pipelines for ongoing and seasonal hiring needs. Screening & Coordination • Screen candidates for skills, shift availability, pay expectations, and safety compliance. • Coordinate interviews, offers, onboarding, and pre-employment requirements (background checks, drug screens, etc.). • Ensure all hiring activities comply with local, state, and federal employment regulations. • Maintain accurate documentation in the ATS and provide regular hiring updates to stakeholders.. Required Skills & Qualifications • 2+ years of recruiting experience in light industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse staffing. • Strong understanding of hourly workforce recruitment and high-volume hiring. • Experience using ATS systems and job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.). • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills. • Ability to manage multiple openings and meet tight hiring deadlines. • Knowledge of safety standards, PPE, and industrial work environments Preferred / Nice to Have • Experience with temp, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire staffing models. • Familiarity with manufacturing, chemical, or pharma production environments. • Experience working with local workforce agencies, trade schools, or job fairs. • Prior experience recruiting in the St. Louis or Midwest labor market About Trident Consulting Founded in 2005 and headquartered in San Ramon, CA, Trident Consulting is an award-winning IT and Engineering staffing firm delivering top-tier talent to clients across the United States.
