Senior AWS Full Stack Engineer (NodeJS & ReactJS) Location: Remote We are seeking a Senior AWS Full Stack Engineer to join a strategic engineering team focused on designing and building modern, cloud-native applications. This is a true 50% Frontend / 50% Backend role, ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on development while influencing technical direction, mentoring peers, and collaborating across teams. Required Skills Frontend (Must Have) • React.js • TypeScript • HTML5 • CSS3 Backend • Node.js • TypeScript • Serverless Framework • REST API development AWS Cloud • AWS Lambda • API Gateway • S3 • CloudFront • SQS • EventBridge • RDS • DynamoDB • DocumentDB Infrastructure & DevOps • Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) • CloudFormation or AWS CDK • Docker • Kubernetes (EKS/ECS/Fargate) • Git, GitLab • Jenkins • CI/CD pipelines • AWS SAM (preferred) Monitoring & AI • DataDog • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code Qualifications • 5+ years of experience designing and developing full-stack applications. • 5+ years of React and TypeScript development. • 5+ years of Node.js and backend API development. • Strong experience building AWS serverless applications. • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. • Experience working in Agile environments using Jira and CI/CD practices. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities • Architect, design, and develop scalable cloud-native applications. • Build and maintain both frontend and backend solutions using React, Node.js, and TypeScript. • Lead technical discussions and influence architectural decisions. • Mentor engineers through code reviews and engineering best practices. • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes. • Partner with cloud engineering teams to build secure, scalable AWS solutions. • Support modernization of legacy applications to serverless AWS architectures. • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
