Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to lead strategic, cross-functional infrastructure and operations initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for the planning, execution, governance, and successful delivery of infrastructure-related projects and client initiatives spanning multiple business units. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in enterprise infrastructure technologies combined with proven project management leadership. This individual will serve as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, driving alignment, collaboration, and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle to ensure delivery of measurable business outcomes. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, enterprise-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, technical standards, and operational readiness. Own project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management, proactively identifying dependencies and resolving issues that could impact delivery. Partner with senior stakeholders, infrastructure leadership, and business owners to define project objectives, success criteria, and measurable outcomes. Collaborate closely with infrastructure engineering, network, systems, cloud, security, and service desk teams to ensure technical requirements are clearly defined and executable. Develop, maintain, and govern detailed project plans, schedules, and resource forecasts using MS Project or equivalent tools. Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of project milestones while managing scope changes through formal change control processes. Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable technical deliverables and clearly communicating risks, trade-offs, and impacts. Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, operational, vendor, and organizational risks throughout the project lifecycle. Track and report on project KPIs, financials, and success metrics, delivering clear executive-level status updates and recommendations. Drive portfolio-level planning and prioritization for infrastructure initiatives. Support budget planning and capital forecasting for infrastructure programs. Lead post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and improve delivery effectiveness. Ensure infrastructure initiatives align with security, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years of progressive project management experience, with a strong focus on infrastructure initiatives (network, data center, cloud, end-user computing, security, or enterprise systems). Proven experience leading large, complex, cross-functional infrastructure projects from initiation through delivery in enterprise environments. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies and concepts, including networking, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud platforms, and IT service operations. Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, resource plans, and vendor engagements effectively. Experience working with senior leadership and executive stakeholders, including preparing and presenting project status, risks, and recommendations. Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms. Strong risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities in fast-paced, operationally critical environments. Experience mentoring or coaching junior project managers or contributing to PMO best practices. Experience managing infrastructure modernization, cloud migrations, or network transformation is strongly preferred. Preferred Skills: Strong working knowledge of enterprise infrastructure domains, including networking, data center operations, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), end-user computing, and security. Ability to manage highly interdependent, multi-workstream projects with competing priorities and aggressive timelines. Experience delivering projects in operationally critical environments where uptime, stability, and customer impact are key considerations. Advanced stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority and navigate complex organizational structures. Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams, facilitate productive meetings, and drive consensus on delivery decisions. Experience managing third-party vendors, systems integrators, and service providers, including contract execution and performance oversight. Strong financial acumen, including forecasting, cost control, and variance management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, concise executive-level reporting. Ability to adapt delivery approaches across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies. Prominent level of organizational discipline with strong attention to detail, documentation, and follow-through. Demonstrated ability to anticipate downstream operational impacts and address risks proactively. Comfort operating in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments, maintaining momentum and accountability. Experience with large-scale infrastructure transformations, mergers, or data center consolidations. Exposure to global or multi-site infrastructure deployments. Familiarity with service transition, change management, and production cutover planning. Experience working closely with 24x7 support and operations models.
