Strong communication skills, experience in technical support or help desk, familiarity with computer hardware troubleshooting, and preferred knowledge of cameras, IP addressing, IT infrastructure, and multiple operating systems.
Job Summary This is a growth position - TS&L is a fast-growing leader in solar camera systems, emergency communication towers, and smart city technology. We work with major universities, municipalities, and law enforcement agencies across the Southeast — delivering advanced, wireless, and solar-powered safety systems. We’re looking for a driven, tech-minded individual to join our team and grow with us. What you’ll do • Assist customers by email and phone with product questions, basic troubleshooting, and configuration support. • Help configure and test IP-based cameras, solar connectivity kits, and communication systems. • Work directly with our engineers and field technicians to support active projects. • Learn our product line (solar cameras, blue light towers, and smart lighting systems) • Provide outstanding technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat, ensuring timely resolution of inquiries. • Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues across multiple operating systems. • Manage computer networks, including VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) and firewalls, to maintain secure connections. • Assist users with desktop support, guiding them through setup processes and resolving technical difficulties. • Utilize tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira to track issues and document resolutions efficiently. • Collaborate with IT teams to enhance IT infrastructure and improve overall service delivery. • Conduct training sessions for users on software applications like Microsoft Office to maximize productivity. • Maintain accurate records of support interactions and contribute to knowledge base articles for future reference. Basic qualifications • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users. • Proven experience in technical support or help desk environments. • Familiarity with computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. Preferred qualifications • Experience working with cameras and IP addressing, or basical Tech skills • Knowledge of IT infrastructure best practices. • Proficiency in using various operating systems: Windows, macOS, Linux.
