Role Overview: As the Associate Marketing & Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving TIA’s marketing and communication strategies to support meetings, events, education, and sales initiatives. Your efforts will ensure cohesive messaging and effective promotion across multiple channels to enhance member engagement and organizational growth. What You'll Do: - You will develop and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with TIA’s goals for meetings, events, education, and sales. - You will manage content creation and distribution across digital platforms, including social media, email campaigns, and the website. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate marketing efforts and ensure consistent branding. - You will analyze marketing campaign performance and provide actionable insights to optimize future initiatives. - You will oversee event promotion and support logistics to maximize attendance and engagement. - You will maintain relationships with vendors and external partners to enhance marketing capabilities. - You will assist in the development of educational materials and communications to support member learning. - You will monitor industry trends to keep TIA’s marketing strategies innovative and competitive. What You Bring: - A minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably within associations or the transportation industry. - Strong proficiency in digital marketing tools, including email marketing platforms, social media management, and content management systems. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. - Experience with event marketing and coordination. - Analytical skills to interpret marketing data and generate reports. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a trade association or nonprofit environment. - Knowledge of the transportation or logistics industry. - Graphic design skills and familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite. - Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
