Job Title: Associate Marketing & Communications Manager Company Overview: The Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) is a leading trade association dedicated to supporting third-party logistics professionals and freight brokers. With a commitment to advancing the industry through education, advocacy, and networking, TIA serves as a vital resource for its members to thrive in a dynamic transportation landscape. Role Overview: As the Associate Marketing & Communications Manager, you will play a key role in driving TIA’s marketing and communication strategies to support meetings, events, education, and sales initiatives. This position focuses on both strategic planning and tactical execution to enhance member engagement and promote TIA’s offerings. What You'll Do: - You will manage and implement marketing campaigns that align with TIA’s strategic goals. - You will coordinate communication efforts across multiple channels including email, social media, and print. - You will support the planning and promotion of meetings, events, and educational programs. - You will collaborate with sales teams to develop marketing materials that drive membership growth. - You will analyze marketing data to measure campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements. - You will maintain consistent brand messaging and ensure all communications reflect TIA’s values. - You will manage relationships with external vendors and partners to execute marketing initiatives. - You will assist in the development of content for newsletters, press releases, and website updates. What You Bring: - You have 3-5 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably within a trade association or B2B environment. - You possess strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities. - You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. - You are proficient in digital marketing tools, including email marketing platforms and social media management. - You have experience with event marketing and promotional strategies. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the transportation or logistics industry. - Knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite. - Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools. - Previous experience working in a membership-based organization.
