Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (PHP/Symfony, React, AWS) Location: Remote (Preference for candidates in Greater Boston Area) Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain our core application. The ideal candidate will implement new features, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience with AI and large language models (LLMs) is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, maintain, and enhance the core application using PHP/Symfony. • Build and maintain front-end components with React. • Deploy and manage applications in AWS environments. • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions. • Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and improving development processes. • Explore and implement AI/LLM-based solutions to enhance product functionality (if applicable). • Ensure application scalability, security, and performance. Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of professional software development experience. • Strong expertise in PHP and Symfony framework. • Experience with React for front-end development. • Hands-on experience with AWS services and deployment. • Solid understanding of database design and optimization (SQL/NoSQL). • Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows (CI/CD). • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
