What's in it for you: Trane Technologies is hiring a CHVAC SBU Materials Leader. The SBU Materials Lead is responsible for being the subject matter expert within CHVAC SBU for our plants in terms of material planning, master scheduling and inventory optimization standard work and processes. This role will collaborate with plants to be the first escalation point of contact for materials issues, auditing and coaching to SBU process/standard work, implementing and executing SBU initiatives and formulating future strategy. What you will do: Coaches and enforces processes around purchased raw material, assembled components and kits and finished goods by category and supplier. Responsible for plant adherence to standard work. Assess and Audit sites against Standard work adherence, BOS and SBU Standards. Facilitates problem resolution via MDI execution. Coach the phase-in/phase-out processes associated with design changes, value-engineering, supplier sourcing changes and product lifecycle. Actively participates in lean projects, A3 problem-solving projects and Kaizen events. Improve Scheduling and Planning processes to create high functioning MRP output Collaborate with a corporate based team and serve as a functional manager for plant Materials Leaders with responsibility for the optimization of all materials management activities including scheduling, purchasing, materials movement, supplier performance measurement, and SIOP What you will bring: Bachelor’s degree required Extensive experience in supply chain planning, master scheduling, demand planning, logistics, purchasing. Experience with major ERP platforms (Oracle preferred), Microsoft Excel skillset must include pivot tables, lookup functions and charting. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of manufacturing, quality control, production planning process warehousing or inventory control. Ability to Coach, Influence and direct Plant level leaders Ability to travel up to 50% Deep understanding of BOS, ability to Coach adherence to BOS standards such as MDI, Problem solving and A3 strategy development Oracle R12 experience Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range: $113,600.00 - $204,609.99 Compensation Type: Salary Incentive Eligible: Yes Sales Commission Eligible: No Disclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
