Full Description

Oversee a major capital improvement project in a prime Manhattan location from pre-construction to final completion. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of managing project deliverables, documentation, and communication between various stakeholders. Responsibilities also may include aiding other construction projects throughout the portfolio as time allows. ______________________________________________________________________ ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in commercial construction projects. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of managing project deliverables, documentation, and communication between various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Project Management: Lead and manage the project, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of all phases including design, installation, and support. • Design/Engineering Support: Collaborate with engineering and design teams reviewing and interpreting construction documentation, RFIs, and product specifications. • Documentation Review: Produce, review, and manage project deliverables, including pricing, drawings, materials, and samples. • Coordination: Work with architectural, structural, electrical, and other trade professionals to ensure integrated system design and implementation. Schedule and attend weekly OAC meetings. • Quality Assurance: Oversee verification activities to ensure project compliance with standards and specifications. • Third Party Interactions: Maintain effective communication with clients, brokers and potential tenants and providing updates throughout the project lifecycle. • Team Leadership: Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to facilitate project execution and resolve any issues that arise. Qualifications: • Minimum of five (5) years of professional work experience in project management. • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. • New York City experience is required.
