Own and optimize monetization strategies, including pricing, packaging, and revenue systems, to drive growth and customer value.
Experience leading pricing and packaging strategy in a SaaS environment, and treating billing and paywalls as product experiences.
TL;DR Trainual is looking to bring on a Growth Product Manager to join our team. You know how most product roles dance around revenue? Yeah, not this one. At Trainual, our Growth PM is front-and-center optimizing the customer journey from activation to expansion, making packaging and monetization smarter, and scaling sustainable growth. You’ll work across product, data, pricing, and experimentation as the go-to on how product drives revenue. Your mission: make Trainual more valuable as our customers scale, increase efficiency for our go-to-market teams, and own revenue mechanics like a product feature (because they are). So, who are you? You're customer journey-obsessed with a pricing playbook, a sharp product POV, and a sixth sense for what unlocks customer value. You thrive in the messy middle: where monetization, product, and GTM meet. You’ve launched pricing changes without losing sleep, migrated customers off legacy plans, and you enjoy pulling levers to drive NRR. “Experimentation” is your middle name (okay, that’d be weird), but you’re open to continuous testing and never afraid to step into unknown territory. **This role is required to be in our Tempe office 1-2 days a week. What you’ll own & improve: Monetization that makes sense (and money). You’ll own pricing and packaging end-to-end, shaping plans that clearly map to customer value and scale with our business. From rolling out new pricing for upmarket customers to rethinking how features and pre-built content are bundled, you’ll drive NRR and ARPU while making Trainual easier to buy, sell, and grow with. Conversion flows that don’t get in the way. You’ll own the full monetization experience (paywalls, trials, upgrades, and purchasing flows) and make them work harder. You’ll run thoughtful experiments, ship improvements fast, and build visibility into what’s converting, what’s confusing, and where we should push next. Revenue systems built to scale. You’ll treat billing, discounts, trials, and migration as real product surfaces—not backend chores. Your work will reduce legacy complexity, support future suite offerings, and make it easier for Sales and CS to renew, expand, and upsell without friction. What you already know: You’ve led pricing and packaging strategy - including migrations, plan redesigns, and monetization experiments at a scaling SaaS company. How to treat paywalls, trials, and billing like product experiences, not just backend infrastructure. You’ve driven product-led growth across activation, adoption, and expansion using data, experimentation, and a deep understanding of the customer journey. What it takes to align product with Sales, CS, and RevOps and actually make it easier to sell, renew, and expand. You’ve shipped high-stakes projects with confidence, even when the data’s imperfect and the path forward isn’t obvious. Fluency in the tools of the trade: Figma, Jira, Miro, Slack, and Stripe. (SQL or AI prototyping? Nice to have, not required.) About the team: This role reports to our incredible VP of Product, Taylor Sell. We’re sure you've noticed by now - this role is highly collaborative and will work closely with Sales, CX, Marketing, Finance, Design, and Engineering. Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $145-165k and will be determined based on relevant experience to this role in our industry. It also includes stock options, benefits, and all of our brag-worthy culture perks.
