The security master database includes all data attributes for all asset-classes that are traded on the Alternative Trading System (ATS). This position ensures the integrity of all fixed income asset classes pertaining to the application and functionality on the ATS. In addition, this position ensures that defects in the software application relating to calculation errors are identified and resolved. Job Responsibilities • Setup new issues and maintain attributes on secondaries for universe of fixed income securities on the TWD Security Master Database; be flexible in occasionally backing up trade support activity • Utilize multiple data sources to research, validate and respond to real time data discrepancies that impact trading or client workflow; including calculation errors, refunding inquiries, descriptive, etc. • Add value to team projects and ad hoc requests; including QC, testing, research & analysis • Display urgency and communicate effectively when resolving Sec. Master discrepancies for clients. Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree completed or relative work experience required • 1-3 years of experience in financial services • Experience with SQL for reference data analysis and JIRA to deliver business requirements a plus • General knowledge of fixed income securities and the attributes that differentiate them; experience in utilizing data provider tools/APIs (ex. BBG, ICE, Refinitiv, etc.) for analysis a plus • Superior written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with various levels of the organization; Superior client services skills are required • Ability to prioritize and manage competing requests and tasks in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy when solutioning, acute attention to detail • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite; experience navigating a Security Master GUI a plus • FINRA Series 7 and/or related licenses preferred Additional Information Tradeweb is committed to providing valuable and competitive benefits.
