Lead and manage a team of financial writers, uphold editorial standards, and optimize reader engagement metrics.
Over 5 years in financial editorial roles with management experience, strong editorial judgment in finance and macro, and ability to produce strategic, investor-focused content.
EDITORIAL MANAGER Who We Are: A Leading Financial Intelligence Network We are one of the fastest-growing financial media companies in the U.S., operating a sophisticated ecosystem of owned-and-operated newsletter brands that deliver high-level market insight to a dedicated audience of serious investors. While our current footprint is scaling rapidly, we are in the final stages of expanding into a category-leading digital platform. This includes a premier, high-authority domain that has already been secured and will serve as the editorial hub for our entire network. Our Scale: Rapid Growth, Real Impact We are currently adding more than 5,000 new subscribers per day across our ecosystem. This pace of growth creates a rare opportunity for the right leader to have immediate, measurable impact on a large and expanding audience. Our Culture: Warmth Meets High Performance We take our work seriously — but not ourselves. We’ve built a collaborative, human-first culture where excellence is the baseline and ego is not. We are a team of A-players who believe you shouldn’t have to choose between a high-growth environment and a supportive workplace. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ ROLE OVERVIEW We are seeking an Editorial Manager to lead the quality, clarity, and performance of our financial editorial across the network. This is an editorial leadership role built around performance — not just production. You will own the oversight and refinement of our writing frameworks, writer output, and reader engagement, ensuring that every edition meets a consistently high bar for authority, insight, and impact. Primary Objective: Ensure every edition reads with conviction, delivers non-obvious investor insight, and performs against our core KPIs — Open Rate (OR) and Click-Through Rate (CTR). ____________________________________________________________________________________________ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Editorial Leadership • Lead, coach, and manage a team of financial copywriters. • Uphold and evolve our editorial frameworks, voice, and standards across all publications. Performance Ownership • Own OR and CTR as primary success metrics. • Diagnose underperformance, identify root causes, and iterate to improve reader trust and engagement. Writing & Strategic Thinking • Regularly produce original editorial to set the quality benchmark. • Translate macro trends, policy shifts, and market dynamics into clear, decision-relevant investor insight. Systems & Process • Build and implement repeatable editorial processes. • Efficiently onboard new writers and integrate them into our frameworks. • Use data to inform decisions while preserving editorial integrity and depth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & PROFILE • 5+ years in financial editorial, research, or market-facing writing, with 2+ years managing writers and editing for performance. • You think like an investor, not a journalist — you are allergic to filler and comfortable balancing creative judgment with data. • Strong editorial judgment in finance and macro, with the ability to edit for clarity, tension, and attention retention. • Calm under pressure, decisive, and highly process-oriented. You execute reliably under tight deadlines, even in fast-moving markets. • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (journalism, economics, finance, or related fields), or equivalent professional experience. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE • Writers deliver sharper drafts with less rework over time. • The editorial voice is consistent, confident, and institutional in tone. • Readers finish each edition feeling materially smarter and eager for the next. • OR and CTR remain stable and resilient across all market conditions. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ HOW TO APPLY If you have the skill to match our ambition and the heart to match our culture, we want to hear from you. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Work Location: Remote
