About the role: The Technology Procurement Specialist plays a critical role in the procurement organization by developing and executing sourcing strategies specifically for information technology categories, including hardware, software, cloud services, SaaS, telecom, and IT professional services. This role partners closely with IT, Security, Finance, and Legal to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO), manage technology risk, ensure licensing and contractual compliance, and enable scalable, secure technology solutions that support business objectives. What’s in it for you: • Completive base salary plus bonus opportunity • Advancement opportunities with structured career paths • Employee referral bonus opportunities • Comprehensive benefits package • Health, dental and vision coverage • 401(k) with company match • Perks including employee discounts, financial wellness planning, tuition reimbursement and more • Certified Great Place to Work with 900+ lifetime workplace award wins What you’ll be doing: • Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives for IT spend categories (e.g., software licensing, cloud services, infrastructure, managed services) • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, vendor consolidation, demand management, and risk mitigation across the IT portfolio • Evaluate and select IT suppliers based on technical capability, security posture, commercial value, and service performance • Manage strategic relationships with key technology vendors and system integrators • Monitor supplier performance against SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations, including renewals and true ups • Lead negotiations for IT contracts, including software licensing agreements, SaaS subscriptions, cloud consumption models, and statements of work • Partner with Legal and IT to ensure contracts address data privacy, information security, IP ownership, audit rights, and termination provisions • Benchmark pricing and commercial terms against market standards • Track, validate, and report realized savings, cost avoidance, and value creation from IT sourcing initiatives • Act as a trusted advisor to IT stakeholders, aligning sourcing strategies with technology needs and project timelines • Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and cost center alignment for IT spend • Support governance processes related to vendor intake, risk reviews, and approvals • Assess vendor risk related to cybersecurity, data protection, financial stability, and operational resilience • Develop contingency and exit strategies for critical IT suppliers • Ensure sourcing activities comply with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls • Continuously improve IT procurement processes, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency and transparency • Leverage procurement and ERP systems to analyze spend, contract data, and supplier performance • Contribute to standardized playbooks for IT sourcing and contracting What you need: • Bachelor’s degree required (business, supply chain, information systems, or related field preferred) • 3–5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management • Demonstrated experience supporting IT Purchasing or Sourcing strongly preferred • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technology and financial data • Proven negotiation and IT contract management experience • Understanding of software licensing models, cloud pricing constructs, and IT services agreements • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or procurement platforms (e.g., Oracle Fusion) a plus Employment visa sponsorship is unavailable for this position.
