As one of the world’s most admired brands, Toyota is growing and leading the future of mobility through innovative, high-quality solutions designed to enhance lives and delight those we serve. We’re looking for talented team members who want to Dream. Do. Grow. with us. To save time during the application process, Toyota does not offer sponsorship for employment-based visas or any other work authorization for this position at this time. Who We’re Looking For Toyota’s Manufacturing Parts Operations Department is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Analyst to lead the development, sustainment, and continuous improvement (Kaizen) of a TPS Parts Supply Chain. Reporting to the Logistics Planning Manager, this role supports the Part Supply Chain Planning department’s objective to achieve the lowest-cost logistics by leveraging TPS and Toyota Way principles. • The primary responsibility is to create supply chain plans to move freight from suppliers to manufacturing plants or service part locations, designing over-the-road or rail logistics solutions. • This position directly supports North American Manufacturing Companies (NAMCs), Service Part Centers, Cross Docks, Contract Logistics Providers, and Toyota suppliers in planning and implementing the supply chain strategy. • You will have direct responsibility for decisions impacting freight flow and resource allocation, including routing, driver and tractor numbers, yard space, facility material handling, packaging return flow, and parts order timelines. • The role uses a combination of Toyota-developed and off-the-shelf software to execute planning cycles that adjust to monthly (or more frequent) changes in the sales plan. • You will conduct complex supply chain network optimization, problem-solving, and data analysis to improve freight flow and reduce costs within a $1B+ budget. • This position requires strong analytical skills to work with large data sets and conduct on-site observations to create and implement innovative processes that continuously improve the supply chain. • You will visualize daily KPI performance to ensure targets are met and use this data to drive continuous improvement and problem-solving. • Flexibility for monthly business travel (approximately 3-4 days per month) and daily overtime based on business and customer demand is required. What You’ll Be Doing • Optimizing the external parts delivery supply chain network based on TPS principles. • Developing and sustaining positive relationships with customers (NAMCs, Service Part Centers, Cross Docks, Contract Logistics Providers, and Toyota suppliers) to ensure smooth operational flow and lowest-cost delivery of parts. • Fostering personal growth and development to meet current and future business needs, focusing on problem-solving, quality, analytical skills, and deep operational knowledge of the supply chain. • Creating an environment that drives innovative solutions to deliver significant cost improvements within a $1B+ logistics expense. • Achieving daily milestones with 100% accuracy to produce new logistics designs monthly, maximizing efficiency and managing change within the supply chain. Qualifications What You Bring: • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field (Engineering, IS, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management) or a minimum of 4 years of work experience in supply chain or logistics planning. • Project experience leading or collaborating with teams to achieve common goals. • Experience with complex data analysis and quantitative methodologies. • Strong communication skills, including report writing and presenting to audiences. Added bonus if you have: • Experience working with fixed timelines (hard milestones). • Experience with defined, repeatable processes using operating procedures and quality confirmation checks. • Experience using optimization software or complex software suites (SAP, LLamasoft, ERP, eKanban, etc.). • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI). • Proven problem-solving skills using principles such as Toyota Business Principles or 5-Why analysis. • Experience in over-the-road or rail logistics planning in a high-volume, high-cost environment. What We’ll Bring During your interview process, our team will share details about our industry-leading benefits and career development opportunities. Highlights include: • A work environment built on teamwork, flexibility, and respect • Professional growth and development programs, including tuition reimbursement • Team Member Vehicle Purchase Discount • Toyota Team Member Lease Vehicle Program (if applicable) • Comprehensive healthcare and wellness plans for your entire family • Toyota 401(k) Savings Plan with company match and annual retirement contributions regardless of your participation • Paid holidays and paid time off • Referral services for prenatal care, adoption, childcare, schools, and more • Tax-advantaged accounts (Health Savings Account, Health Care FSA, Dependent Care FSA) • Relocation assistance (if applicable) Belonging at Toyota Our success begins and ends with our people.
