Overview Touch of Life Physical Therapy in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail oriented Front Desk Receptionist who can work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (approximately 25 to 30 hours per week). In addition to core front desk responsibilities, we manage our clinic website using WordPress, and we are specifically looking for someone who has previous experience using WordPress and understands the basic functions of the platform. This includes posting blogs, editing menus, and making simple website content changes. This position may transition into a full time role based on performance and clinic growth. Responsibilities ✔ Greet patients warmly and assist with check in and check out ✔ Schedule and confirm appointments through our EMR system ✔ Answer phone calls, emails, text messages, and manage patient inquiries ✔ Verify insurance information and collect payments ✔ Support billing and claim follow up ✔ Assist physical therapists with treatment room setup ✔ Upload blog posts and images to our WordPress website ✔ Update menus, pages, and simple website content ✔ Edit page layout, text, and images using the WordPress block editor Qualifications ✔ Previous receptionist or customer service experience (preferred) ✔ Experience with WordPress blog posting or basic website updates ✔ Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities ✔ Warm, professional, and patient centered attitude ✔ Interest in physical therapy, health, wellness, or fitness ✔ Familiarity with Canva or simple design tools (preferred) ✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office; EMR experience is a plus Pay $20 to $26 per hour Applicants with WordPress or digital content skills may qualify for higher pay.
