About the Role: We are seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Product Development professional to oversee the development process from initial design through production handoff. This role is responsible for maintaining development timelines, ensuring technical accuracy, coordinating sample requests, and facilitating communication between our design team, overseas manufacturing partners, and production department. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong project management skills, and understands the importance of precision and accountability in children's apparel development. Key Responsibilities: Development Planning & Timeline Management • Establish and implement development goals and timelines to ensure the design team has sufficient time to complete each stage of the product development process. • Manage and maintain the TIA calendar, ensuring key deadlines and milestones are met. • Monitor development progress and proactively identify potential delays or challenges. • Coordinate communication across design, technical, and production teams. Technical Review & Problem-Solving • Review all tech pack information for accuracy, completeness, and clarity before submitting to overseas factories. • Identify and resolve issues within the design room prior to sample development. • Attend design meetings to track design changes, revisions, and technical updates. • Ensure all revisions are accurately implemented and communicated to the appropriate teams. • Support the design team in maintaining consistent and accurate development documentation. Sample Development & Factory Communication • Prepare and send sample requests to overseas factories. • Communicate comments, corrections, and revisions to factories for the creation of PP (Pre-Production) samples. • Follow up on sample development to ensure timelines and quality expectations are met. • Coordinate the transfer of finalized development information to the Production Department. • Ensure all relevant technical and development details are properly communicated during the production handoff. Administrative & Financial Management • Track sample purchases and related expenses. • Prepare and submit expense reports to Accounting, including supporting receipts. • Maintain accurate records of sample requests, revisions, and development status. • Ensure development-related expenses are properly documented and submitted on time. Qualifications & Experience • Experience in apparel product development, production coordination, or a related field. • Strong understanding of tech packs, sample development, and garment manufacturing. • Experience communicating with overseas factories and manufacturing partners. • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills. • Ability to manage multiple styles, deadlines, and revisions simultaneously. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work collaboratively across design, technical, and production departments. Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications. Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year Benefits: • Paid time off Work Location: In person
