Senior Data Analyst / Business Analyst (Remote Contract) Pay Rate: Up to $88.54/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (EST or CST) Contract Duration: October 27, 2025 – April 26, 2026 Employment Type: Contract | Remote Vaccine Requirement: Yes Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst / Business Analyst to support enterprise reporting and analytics transformation initiatives. This role focuses on translating legacy reporting logic into scalable, modern Power BI solutions that drive strategic decision-making and performance improvement across the organization. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled at bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation. Key Responsibilities • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document reporting requirements and KPIs. • Evaluate legacy reports to identify source data, business logic, and metric definitions. • Translate legacy logic into modern Power BI models and scalable reporting structures. • Define and document data elements, semantic layers, and mappings to enterprise data warehouse schemas. • Collaborate with data engineering and architecture teams to optimize data pipelines for analytics use. • Support Power BI developers by providing DAX, modeling, and logic guidance. • Conduct thorough data validation and ensure accuracy of report outputs. • Identify and resolve data quality issues through collaboration with technical teams. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of logic, mappings, and validation processes. • Provide user training, stakeholder communication, and report handoff support. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data governance and analytics best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications • Advanced Power BI expertise, including strong DAX skills for calculated columns, measures, and advanced data modeling. • Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. • Proven experience with data visualization principles and dashboard design in Power BI. • Deep understanding of data governance, quality, and integrity best practices. • Experience working with large-scale, complex enterprise datasets and data warehouse environments. • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms. • 5+ years of experience in data analysis or business analysis roles with a reporting/metrics focus. • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps. • Healthcare data experience (clinical, financial, or operational) strongly preferred. • Experience with Azure and Databricks is a plus. #INDJB Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $88.54 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Vision insurance Work Location: Remote
