To.Scale, on behalf of one of our clients, a major Japanese automotive manufacturer, is looking for a Project Manager to join the EV (Electric Vehicle) Products division and help shape the future of connected mobility. This is a strategic delivery role where you’ll be the glue that connects backend developers, frontend teams, infrastructure, compliance, and business stakeholders across multiple countries. You’ll manage two backend development teams and steer the delivery of software platforms that power next-gen EV solutions. Your ability to remove blockers, align roadmaps, and communicate clearly will be key. You won’t be writing code, but you’ll need to speak the language of those who do. Think sprint planning, KPIs, risk mitigation, and cross-team orchestration, all in a global delivery setup that spans Poland, Portugal, Italy and Greece. What We’re Looking For 5+ years of experience managing software development projects (Agile/Scrum) Proven success in delivering backend/platform projects in complex, international environments Experience with Jira, Jira Align, Confluence Skilled in reporting, visualizing, and communicating delivery progress Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities Fluent English Naturally proactive, organized, and detail-oriented — without needing daily supervision Nice-to-Haves (Not Deal Breakers) Experience with backend systems in mobility, automotive, or IoT Experience leading delivery in a multi-country distributed environment Familiarity with sprint/PI planning tools and reporting dashboards Understanding of system architecture (enough to follow technical discussions) Join To.Scale – Build the Future With Us: At To.Scale, we’re building a new way of working: global, flexible, and truly borderless.
