ABOUT US: Toray Advanced Composites (TAC) is a leading supplier of advanced composite materials for the aerospace, sporting goods, motorsport, and industrial markets. You will find our thermoset composite products on nearly every satellite, space launch vehicle, unmanned aircraft, military and commercial aircraft in production today. TAC also provides composites materials to industrial and recreational applications including mountain bikes, medical prosthetics, and sports equipment. Our thermoplastic prepregs, known in the industry as Cetex®, are found in a wide range of commercial and military aircraft, including large wing structures and interior applications like seats and galleys. Our Cetex products are available in unidirectional tape or fabric form in a variety of engineered thermoplastic resins including PEEK, PPS, PEI as well as a full line of performance thermoplastics including Nylon, PET, PC/ABS, HDPE, and PP. SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS: Under the supervision of the lead and supervisor, the Warehouse Clerk will ensure that all inventory is properly handled, labeled, packaged, and accounted for. MAJOR DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS: • Unload deliveries and stage for receiving inspection or put-away • Stock inventory onto proper shelf locations • Practice FIFO inventory issuance • Pick inventory for transfer to production or shipment to customers or vendors • Perform inventory cycle counts • Research missing inventory/materials and report any discrepancies • Assist warehouse, shipping and receiving personnel with day-to-day activities as needed • Perform data entry as required EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent • 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment preferred, previous experience supporting a manufacturing environment is a plus • Must be familiar with computer systems including MS Office and data base systems (FileMaker Pro and AX D365) • Must be able to communicate clearly (written and verbally) in English • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills and the ability to work with all levels of the company • Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift • Maintain work areas in neat, orderly and safe manner • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
