We are seeking five experienced Electrical Studies Engineers to join a high-performing remote team focused on delivering technical solutions in the power utility sector. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of U.S.-based experience with another engineering firm supporting power delivery projects and hold an active P.E. license. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fully remote, collaborative environment while contributing to innovative engineering studies and designs that impact energy systems across the country. Salary range: $130,000 to $200,000 a year Ideal Candidate Profile: Minimum 5 years of experience at a U.S.-based engineering firm supporting the power utility industry Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States No visa sponsorship available (including TN visas) Key Technical Focus Areas (You may specialize in one or more): 1. Design Studies Grounding analysis, EMF, insulation coordination, power quality, motor starting, AC interference Tools: CDEGS, WinIGS, ATP-EMTP, PSCAD 2. Protective Relaying Short circuit studies, coordination, relay settings, SCADA, arc flash, NERC compliance Tools: SEL AcSELerator, GE Enervista, ASPEN Oneliner, CAPE, SKM-PTW, ETAP, RSCAD/RTDS 3. Power System Planning Load flow, contingency analysis, interconnection studies, dynamic performance, voltage stability Tools: PSS/E, PSLF, PowerWorld, Python scripting Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) Minimum 5 years of relevant power systems experience in the U.S. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: Advanced coursework or training in: Protective relaying Power system transients Electromagnetic fields Professional Engineer (P.E. or P.Eng.) license
