Generate leads, develop new business and distributors in oil and gas sectors, deliver presentations, negotiate contracts, and support distributors.
Bachelor's degree, 3-5 years B2B sales experience preferably in oil and gas or utilities, technical knowledge of gas detection, and CRM proficiency.
Essential Job Functions: (detailed but concise bulleted list of all duties for the role including any supervisory and/or financial functions.) Position Responsibilities: • In this exciting position you will work to expand our market presence, mainly in Colorado and surrounding states, through direct sales to customers, and by developing equipment distributors. • Direct Sales: • Generate leads and develop new business opportunities within the oil and gas, biogas, and utility sectors. • Identify customer needs and deliver presentations, product demonstrations to showcase the solution's capabilities: visualization and quantification with the infrared camera. • Negotiate and finalize sales contracts. • Achieve or exceed sales quotas for the Gas Monitoring team. • Distributor Development: • Identify and cultivate relationships with qualified distributors across the designated territories. • Establish and manage distributor activities to ensure effective market penetration and customer contact. • Provide ongoing support and training to distributors on the Gas Monitoring Solution. Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications: (required or preferred - experience level, education level, certifications.) • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field • Bachelor's degree and/or 3 to 5 years of technical experience. (not mandatory). • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the oil and gas or utility industries. • Strong understanding of gas detection technologies and their industrial applications. • Familiarity with environmental regulations related to methane and VOC emissions/reduction is highly beneficial. • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
