The Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dealership’s finance and insurance operations. This role ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, maximizes profitability through effective product presentation and deal structuring, and delivers an exceptional customer experience. The F&I Manager works closely with the sales team and lending partners to secure financing, negotiate competitive terms, and offer value-added products such as warranties and protection plans. Success in this position requires strong leadership, ethical practices, and the ability to build trust with customers while achieving performance goals.Key Responsibilities • Present and sell finance and insurance products to customers in a transparent and ethical manner. • Secure financing through multiple lenders and negotiate competitive terms. • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including disclosure requirements. • Collaborate with sales team to optimize deal structures and maintain high customer satisfaction. • Maintain accurate documentation and submit contracts promptly. • Monitor and achieve monthly F&I performance goals. Required Qualifications • Prior experience in automotive finance and insurance management. • Strong knowledge of lending practices and compliance standards. • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding F&I performance metrics. • Proficiency with dealership management systems and finance tools. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field. • Experience with Volkswagen or similar automotive brands. • Strong negotiation and customer service skills.
