Position Summary The Business Innovation Project Manager will manage TMHCC’s strategic and innovative initiatives across the organization. This person will support the VP of Business Innovation in advancing the innovation agenda, focusing on optimizing operational efficiency, improving productivity, and enhancing the experience of internal and external stakeholders. The role is accountable for planning, prioritizing, managing, and measuring complex projects that cross business units and functions. It requires partnering with leaders across TMHCC to evaluate new technologies, identify areas of process improvement, and drive disciplined project execution. This individual will also work closely with key business leaders to evaluate business-related pain points, assess new and emerging solutions, and incorporate modern methodologies, tools, technologies, and workflows into TMHCC’s operational ecosystem. The goal is to help improve performance across underwriting, distribution, claims, and support functions by leveraging technology, process efficiency, and innovation. Key Responsibilities Performance Objectives • Provide direction, oversight, and support on complex, cross-functional projects to ensure consistency, coordination, and integration across TMHCC business units. • Conduct business process analysis to identify opportunities for improvements; develop roadmaps, evaluate solutions, and recommend prioritized actions. • Partner with business leaders at all levels to build, manage, and execute project plans aligned with organizational goals. • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, dependencies, and workstreams to ensure timely execution. • Collaborate with IT on technology evaluations, pilots, testing protocols, and solution validations. • Act as a subject matter expert for innovation initiatives; identify process gaps, challenge existing approaches, and drive the adoption of improved methodologies. • Provide project transparency and visibility to leadership, ensuring clear communication of progress, risks, and outcomes. • Understand systems, products, and operational workflows to ensure project alignment with business strategy and objectives. Experience & Education • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, specialized training, or equivalent experience. • 2–5 years of progressive experience in Project Management, Project Leadership, or equivalent team leadership role managing complex projects. • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in P&C insurance, with strong familiarity with insurance operations preferred. • Demonstrated ability to identify critical information, influence stakeholders, and guide cross-functional teams toward consensus. • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across management levels. • Ability to evaluate the implications of business solutions across cost, risk, process, and service. • PMP certification preferred but not required. The pay range for this position is $87,100 – $176,000, which includes geographic adjustments, where applicable. This range reflects the compensation TMHCC, in good faith, believes is accurate at the time of posting. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate’s geographic location, qualifications, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
