Job Summary Acquire profitable new business by utilizing both new and existing marketing channels. Emphasis on commercial P&C business and personal lines program type business (TMIS). Establish and enhance good relationships and oversee services provided to our agents/producers. Essential Job Functions CA Agency Business Research, identify and acquire profitable new business opportunities in western region including TMIS business. Establish and maintain effective relationship with and between producers and clients. Work with Underwriting, Loss Control, Claim, and Audit Departments in coordinating their activity to ensure a level of service commensurate with client needs. Monitor client loss activity and trends and provide appropriate assistance to ensure TMA profitability and client satisfaction. Monitor market trends and utilizing the information, must contribute to developing new business in the western region Manage TMIS staff for growth and profitability Monitor and maintain TMIS operation in compliant Responsible for complying with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities at Company. Expand business wherever possible. Global Accounts Establish and commit to strong/good relationships with and between assigned Global clients, producers and TMA staff by strengthening open communication Coordinate, monitor, initiate and supervise TMA service activities associated with producers and specifically assigned Global clients. Work with Underwriting, Loss Control, Claims, and Audit Departments in coordinating their activity to ensure a level of service satisfied with client needs. Monitor client loss activity and trends and provide appropriate assistance to ensure TMA profitability and client satisfaction. Acquire profitable new business opportunities by exploiting new and existing marketing channels. Perform all marketing duties in connection with assigned clients and territory. Achieve established production goals focusing on profitable growth. Analyze, evaluate and review information thoroughly to decide our stance for each new business. Contribute to company-wide new product initiative by tracking competitors' activities. Responsible for complying with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities at Company. Assist in managing the overall operation in western region in a good shape with support from all related departments. Assist in taking an initiative for special projects owned by GM and SVP (Western Region) Assist in maintaining and improving effective communication among TMA's various departments, TMCS, TMNA, TMNAS and TMNF HO. Qualifications College Degree Preferred Minimum 5+ years of insurance industry experience Must have working knowledge in all commercial lines including Property, Casualty, Umbrella, Cargo and WC Personal Lines knowledge helpful, but not required Proficiency in Japanese is required, including speaking, reading, and writing skills. Strong PC skills and intermediate to advanced MS Office Suite skills Analytical marketing skills Solicitor's License strongly preferred, otherwise must be able to obtain and maintain during course of employment Salary range $140,000 to $150,000.
