This is a remote position. ServiceNow Business Analyst Remote (MST or PST Time Zones Only) | Contract (6+ Months) | $60/hour Mid-Senior Level | 1 Opening We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Business Analyst to support the design, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements that drive effective ServiceNow outcomes. This is a remote-first, contract-to-hire opportunity, with candidates required to reside in the Mountain or Pacific Time Zones. Position Overview The ServiceNow Business Analyst will partner closely with business users, developers, and architects to gather requirements, map processes, support configuration, and ensure successful delivery of ServiceNow initiatives. The ideal candidate has deep ServiceNow functional knowledge, strong business analysis skills, and experience working in Agile environments. Key Responsibilities Requirements & Business Analysis Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CSM, CMDB, and related modules Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, and process documentation Process Mapping & Solution Design Analyze current-state business processes and recommend optimized workflows using ServiceNow capabilities Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure solutions align with business objectives and ITIL best practices Configuration & Implementation Support Support configuration of ServiceNow applications including workflows, forms, business rules, reports, and dashboards Assist with solution design decisions to ensure scalability and maintainability Testing, Deployment & Change Support Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Validate solutions meet business expectations prior to deployment Support change management efforts related to enhancements and upgrades Stakeholder Engagement & Enablement Maintain ongoing communication with business and technical stakeholders Provide training and support to end users to ensure adoption of new features and processes Identify opportunities for continuous improvement based on feedback and performance metrics Requirements Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst 3+ years focused specifically on ServiceNow implementations and process automation Strong knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and CMDB Proven ability to create user stories, workflows, process maps, and functional documentation Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks and how they align with ServiceNow ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – required Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Preferred Qualifications Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Familiarity with ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP) and data management Experience with CSM features (Case Management, Portals, Knowledge, Omnichannel, Virtual Agent) Exposure to Flow Designer, Performance Analytics, or advanced platform features Experience supporting data migration or integration projects Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) Benefits Additional Details Work Model: Remote-first with occasional, optional travel (fully reimbursed) Time Zone Requirement: Must reside in MST or PST Engagement Type: Contract-to-hire (minimum 6 months) Pay Rate: $60/hour
