Job Details Job Location: Company Corporate - Houston, TX 77054 Position Type: Full Time Location: Houston, TX Position Type: Full Time Department: Information Technology Description TNT Crane & Rigging is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead large-scale technology initiatives, platform migrations, data transformation efforts, and enterprise modernization projects supporting crane operations, fleet management, equipment rental, dispatching, maintenance, field service, and financial workflows. This role drives business transformation by improving operational efficiency, system integration, and data quality across the organization. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate has hands-on experience delivering large platform migrations, enterprise system upgrades, cloud adoption, and complex data programs within fleet-heavy or job-based industries. They excel at coordinating technical teams, field operations, maintenance shops, dispatch, finance, and executive leadership. Key Responsibilities Platform Migration & Technology Leadership •Lead full lifecycle large platform migration projects, including requirements, architecture alignment, data cleansing, system configuration, testing, cutover, deployment, and stabilization. •Oversee integrations with fleet maintenance systems, telematics, dispatch platforms, GPS/asset tracking, rental management, CRM/HRIS, and financial tools. •Ensure system modernization efforts support operational workflows across crane operations, field service, scheduling, and fleet maintenance. Data Transformation & Quality •Lead data cleansing, data mapping, migration, reconciliation, and master data governance activities. •Work with business and technical teams to improve data accuracy, consistency, and reporting readiness before and after major system transitions. •Partner with BI teams to deliver dashboards and KPIs related to fleet usage, job performance, maintenance, and financial metrics. Project Execution & Governance •Build and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, dependencies, and resource allocation. •Apply PMI/Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid methodologies to ensure successful delivery. •Coordinate internal teams, third-party consultants, and vendors while driving risk mitigation, issue resolution, and change control. Stakeholder Engagement •Act as liaison between IT, operations, dispatch, maintenance, finance, and executive leadership. •Facilitate requirements workshops, design sessions, and cross-functional alignment meetings. •Manage vendor relationships, SOWs, SLAs, and ensure deliverables meet business needs. Process Optimization & Change Management •Improve workflows related to dispatching, operator scheduling, preventative maintenance, job costing, billing, and field reporting. •Lead training, user adoption strategies, day-one support, and transition-to-operations phases. •Promote digital transformation, automation, and standardized practices across the enterprise. Qualifications Qualifications Experience With Large Platform Migrations (Required) •Proven track record leading enterprise-level platform migrations, cloud transitions, infrastructure modernization, or large multi-system replacements. •Experience planning and executing cutovers, data transformation strategies, integration redesigns, testing cycles, and post-go-live stabilization. •Ability to guide organizations through system modernization, cloud adoption, and complex change management. Technical Skills & Experience •8–12+ years of IT project management experience delivering large-scale, multi-phase technology projects. •Experience with system integrations, APIs, telematics (Geotab, Samsara, TrackIt), mobile workforce platforms, and cloud/SaaS environments. •Strong knowledge of data cleansing practices, metadata management, and data governance. •Proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, and BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau). Operational & Business Acumen •Solid understanding of fleet operations, crane/equipment rental workflows, dispatching, maintenance, job costing, billing, and financial processes. •Ability to translate operational challenges into system requirements and technical solutions. Communication & Collaboration •Excellent communicator able to work with operators, mechanics, dispatchers, finance teams, executives, and vendors. •Skilled in leading workshops, conducting process-mapping sessions, and driving alignment across multiple business units. •Strong documentation, presentation, and executive reporting skills. Education & Certifications (Preferred but Not Required) •Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or related field. •PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications.
