The Sr Retail Creative Development Manager is responsible for briefing, leading and driving retail and branded spaces creative content; including digital, print and interactive experiences. Responsibilities include leading creative briefings and creative reviews, and gaining cross-functional creative and legal approvals from internal and external parties. Candidate must have a strong understanding of front-line impact and final customer in-store experience in order to ensure an integrated approach with other in store experiences and campaigns. Job Responsibilities: • Manage creative development to support marketing initiatives including brief writing, project kick-off meetings, agency briefings and creative asset management in alignment with the T-Mobile brand strategy. • Contributes to development and executive approval of strategic creative briefs in support of brand program goals and objectives. Works closely with management on messaging plans for calendar windows. • Gain alignment and approval for all creative executions, from 3rd party, line of business owners, collaborators, leadership and legal. Manages review meetings and act as key agency and internal team contact for assigned projects. • Work in conjunction with Senior Manager to ensure creative executions are in-line with T-Mobile brand positioning, customer insights, product strategies and marketing initiatives. Provide creative direction to agencies applying best practices for driving excellent creative results. • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects, across multiple cross-functional team members, to drive print, digital and interactive marketing tactics and experiences. • Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day issues or problems affecting quality and delivery of all projects — applying industry standards. • Day-to-day contact for internal customers and agency partners on program execution. • Working with IPM team, identify when leadership milestones should be established. • Provides creative leadership on highly visible initiatives acting as primary contact for project planning and creative execution and for agency partners, giving direction on prioritization and overall creative feedback. • Provides team leadership for Creative Managers aiding on reviews with brand and creative input. Consults with team on higher complex initiatives, for problem solving. • Establishes/evolves processes and educates other T-Mobile departments (within marketing and outside of marketing) on planning, processes and timing. Establishes metrics, tracks results and communicates and applies takeaways. Education and Work Experience: • Bachelors Degree. Marketing, Advertising or related creative field preferred • Additional work experience considered in lieu of degree • 5+ year’s experience creative development in relevant Marketing or Advertising capacity (Required) • 4-6 years experience in Retail, US Wireless, Consumer Electronics or Technology (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Strong time-management, project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple, overlapping projects (Required) • Ability to work with all levels of management (Required) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Required) • Agency and studio management experience (Required) • Advanced skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint (Preferred) • At least 18 years of age • Legally authorized to work in the United States Travel: Travel Required (Yes/No): Yes, up to 5% Base Pay Range: $78,400 - $141,500 Corporate Bonus Target: 15% The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
