Job Summary of Inventory Control Associate: Accountable for delivering a highly satisfactory customer experience through active customer engagement, exemplifying customer experience principles, and upholding store cleanliness and organization. Compliance with operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards is necessary. Potential cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. Responsibilities of Inventory Control Associate: • Recognized leaders have established customer experience principles that benefit both internal and external customers • Supports and upholds a constructive store culture by embodying values of openness, honesty, and respect • Records customer purchases and returns accurately while following established procedures for providing change back to customers during transactions • Highlights the value of credit and loyalty programs in customer dealings • Sustains the merchandising approach and adheres to the established merchandising procedures and criteria • Successfully manages the processing and preparation of merchandise for the sales floor, adhering to company standards and practices • Assists in the store's recovery as required at various times during the day • Keeps the sales floor organized, clean, and compliant with recovery standards, while also participating in the cleanliness of the entire store • Gives and receives sustained acknowledgment and beneficial feedback • Adheres to the rules, regulations, and procedures governing labor practices • Helps in the implementation of strategies that target shrinking losses and improving overall security in the store • Plays a crucial role in promoting safety consciousness and ensuring a risk-free environment through diligent maintenance practices • Undertakes any other duties as designated Requirements of Inventory Control Associate: • Displays impressive customer service abilities • Able to accommodate flexible scheduling to support the operational needs of the company • Displays a strong focus on detail along with exceptional organizational proficiency • Able to manage several tasks concurrently • Proficient at reacting appropriately to shifts in direction or unforeseen circumstances • Shows adeptness in conveying messages with clarity and precision • Adept at moving heavy items with or without reasonable assistance • Effectively collaborates with coworkers and superiors to achieve common goals Additional Information: Employee discount, wellness programs, gym membership discounts, paid time off, and access to various corporate perks through PerkSpot.
