The Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the daily operations and ensuring that the fleet is managed efficiently. This role requires a balance of logistical, administrative, and people management skills, along with a strong understanding of fleet maintenance, operations, and compliance. Salaried junior level operations team member, supporting the operations managers and senior operations managers in Michigan. Valid driver's license required and able to meet company driving requirements. This team member would have a set schedule during the weekdays and office hours, but may be on call for specific needs or emergencies. Job duties: WinTeam • Audit schedules to ensure they are updated frequently; looking for open posts, terminated employees still in the schedules, and auditing for accuracy. • Audit who is and isn't punching in and out, and providing those employees with training to do so correctly. • Assist with end of week payroll as needed as well as auditing payroll for accuracy in regards to worked shifts and correct amount of hours worked. • Regularly connect with site supervisors to update WT schedules. TeamTime • Assist new hires with TeamTime app download and training. • Assist incumbent staff with adopting and using TeamTime. Vehicles & Fleet • Assist with vehicle maintenance, oil changes, headlights, fueling, etc. • Assist with vehicle deliveries and taking vehicle to/from the shop. • Takes on the role as a driver safety trainer to ensure all Officers are up to date and the training as well as having up to date DL records. Site Specific • Cover open posts as needed. • Assist with auditing sites with repeat issues from road supervisors. • Take over the site supervisor role for sites that need temporary assistance while site supervisors are on vacation or due to turnover. • Assist with uniform deliveries. Guard Tour System Software • Monitor guard tour system reports. • Assist with guard tour system installation and setups for new job startups. • Ability to navigate, configure, and manage Guard Tour System software platforms (e.g., cloud-based or desktop applications). • Familiarity with configuring system settings, adding or modifying checkpoints, and customizing patrol routes according to operational needs. • Mobile Device Management: Proficiency with mobile devices (smartphones, tablets) that guards may use to scan checkpoints or report incidents, including troubleshooting common issues. Operations • Help with new account start ups. • Assist with high profile sites, extra coverage and other needs. Qualifications/Benefits: Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2 years prior satisfactory employment as a security officer or in a customer service position. Experience in a heavy volume call center is preferred. Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, scheduling software a plus, and Guardtour Systems. Language Skills: Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Bilingual considered a plus. Technological Skills: Guard Tour System Software Proficiency, Technical Troubleshooting and Support, Hardware Knowledge. Other Qualifications: Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Ability to manage time effectively, establish workflow priorities and work independently with high attention to detail. Ability to start, cultivate and maintain strong relations and work in a team environment. Prior employment history demonstrating the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities, and producing accurate results in a highly organized manner.
