Part-Time Contract Janitor (Evenings/Nights) We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented janitor to join our team on a part-time contract basis. This role is perfect for someone who prefers evening and night shifts and has solid experience keeping commercial or industrial spaces spotless. What you’ll do: • Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and handle general cleaning in offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas • Keep restrooms fully stocked and sanitized • Perform floor care: stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing hard floors • Tackle occasional industrial/deep cleaning tasks while following all safety guidelines • Assist with light residential/commercial painting projects as needed • Spot and report any maintenance or repair issues right away • Maintain and properly store all cleaning equipment • Work with the team to keep cleaning schedules on track What you bring: • Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience (strongly preferred) • Hands-on knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques (buffers, auto-scrubbers, burnishers, etc.) • Comfort working with industrial cleaning chemicals and following safety protocols • Ability to handle basic facilities tasks and minor touch-up painting • Strong attention to detail and pride in a job done right • Good time management and the ability to work independently during evening/night hours • Positive, can-do attitude This is a flexible, part-time contract position with most work taking place in the evenings and overnight.
