Overview The selected candidate will join a team of DevSecOps Engineers in helping secure our applications. You will have an opportunity to help with highly innovative solutions, be able to communicate and convince team members on recommendations, show research capability to back up assessments and understand strategic importance of certain decisions. We are seeking a AWS DevSecOps Engineer professional who exhibits strong knowledge and experience in understanding cloud security, migrating cloud solutions and bringing value to our customer. Our goal is to ensure system operations are secure, optimized, downtimes are eliminated, move towards self-managed services and instantly report on system health and security to all levels. Responsibilities Work with DevSecOps Engineers to understand existing CI/CD pipeline, system architecture, application components, and open source tools that need to be migrated to cloud. Monitor all security vulnerabilities and ensure our applications are properly patched and secure. Management of components including monitoring, logging, test automation tools, and other COTS products. Work with the scrum team(s) to understand the testing (manual, automation and performance) needs and assist with the build/deploy automation scripts on a cloud-hosted environment (AWS). Automate common operations on critical systems in a safe and reliable manner and implement deployment best practices, auditing, logging, security controls, and continuous monitoring using an approved cloud service in the test environment. Implement and maintain Jenkins pipelines including Groovy shared libraries. Leverage Artifactory, ECR, S3 buckets in relation to deployments. Administration and maintenance tasks of self hosted Gitlab instance. Implement and maintain Terraform/Terragrunt IaC for Valueteam internal services. Responsible for deployments of Vendor managed Software into Valueteam managed Cloud One AWS Account. Work with Cyber security to ensure environments are compliant which includes regular patching of EC2 instances, Docker images ECS configurations. Troubleshoot production incidents and coordinate incident response procedures. Manage AWS services including IAM roles, networking, and resource optimization. Automate deployment processes and reduce manual intervention in CI/CD workflows. Qualifications 7+ years in an IT environment with System Admin/Engineering experience. 5+ years of DevSecOps experience in an AWS Cloud Environment. Experience with configuration management of Cloud based resources. Experience bootstrapping and automating the build of complete environments. Experience with automating various processes end-to-end. Infrastructure provisioning tool: Terraform/CloudFormation. Experience with the following: Splunk, EC2/EKS, AWS Cloudwatch, X-Ray Monitoring, Java-based Apps, Prometheus/Grafana. Education: Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science or similar. Clearance: Public Trust. Location: Remote, USA. Pay Range: The pay for this position ranges from $110,075 to $120,250. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
