Families Location: Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY Number of children and Age: 1 child, 5-month-old child. Type of Position: Full-time, live-out position. Seeking someone flexible and available to assist occasionally during travel, weeknights, and weekends. Schedule: Monday – Fridays, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm Compensation & benefits: $30-$35/hr. DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, 6 federal holidays and 5 sick days.). Start Date: 01/05/2026, but there’s flexibility to start a week or two later. Travel Required: Yes. Additional info: The family is seeking a long-term nanny (up to +2 years). In addition, being a Mandarin speaker is a huge plus. Family Overview: A warm, loving family in Williamsburg, Brooklyn is seeking a nurturing and gentle nanny to care for their sweet 5-month-old baby. The ideal candidate has solid experience working with infants and a strong understanding of early developmental milestones. They are hoping to find someone who is engaging, affectionate, and able to create enriching, safe activities that encourage their little one’s growth, curiosity, and sense of wonder. The family values a nanny who is respectful of their parenting style and supportive of their childcare preferences. While not required, they would be delighted to welcome someone who speaks Mandarin. Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Provide attentive, high-quality infant care, ensuring the baby’s safety, comfort, and well-being at all times. • Support the child’s developmental milestones through engaging, age-appropriate play and activities. (e.g., tummy time, reading, music, introducing colors etc.) Taking the child outside for walks weather permitting and to classes /museums/play dates/playground. • Introduce and guide baby-led weaning, including preparing nutritious solid foods, safely supervising mealtimes, and encouraging healthy eating habits. • Maintain a clean and organized environment for the baby—tidying play areas, washing and sterilizing bottles and feeding items, and regularly sanitizing toys. • Handle the infant’s laundry, keeping clothing, linens, and bedding fresh and organized. • Occasionally prepare simple, healthy meals for the family or assist with light meal-prepping (approximately three times per week). • Communicate openly with the parents regarding daily routines, milestones, and any observations related to the child’s development. • Maintaining inventory for infants, and letting parents know if they are running low on anything. • Grocery shopping for their baby. Qualifications: • US Work authorization. • A minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience. • Experience in caring for newborns & toddlers • Must be able to make basic meals for their child • Mandarin Speak is a plus • Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, Flu, COVID-19, and Booster). • CPR and First-Aid certifications Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 per week Benefits: • Paid time off Work Location: In person
