Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. Duties • Lead daily classroom activities, implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curricula such as Montessori or other pedagogies. • Develop and adapt curriculum materials to support literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning tailored to diverse learning needs. • Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques to create a respectful and inclusive environment. • Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support early intervention strategies when needed. • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or teaching aides, fostering professional growth and maintaining high standards of childcare and classroom management. • Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental milestones and inform instructional planning. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations related to childcare, toddler care, special education needs, and overall child welfare. Qualifications • Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom experience with toddlers and early learners. • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies. • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across multiple domains such as literacy education, math (including Montessori methods), physical education, and social-emotional learning. • Familiarity with special education practices and experience supporting children with diverse learning needs. • Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, families, staff, and community partners. • Ability to plan lessons that incorporate standardized testing results and tutoring strategies to support individual student growth. • Certification in early childhood education or equivalent credentials; additional training in childhood development or special education is preferred. • Passion for nurturing young minds through innovative teaching methods like Montessori or other child-centered approaches.
