What you will doThe Sr. Mktg Mgr, Strategy and Communications is a key leader, contributing to long‑ and short‑term strategic planning and directly leading Marketing Strategy and Communications. The role collaborates with cross‑functional partners to uncover consumer, category and industry insights, supporting strategic decisions and briefing processes. You will partner with the VP Marketing and executive leaders on marketing strategy, brand and marketing planning, and seasonal communications briefs to help Tillamook maintain its challenger brand status and drive growth. You will manage consumer activation plans, guide major campaign alignment, and oversee the lead brand agency’s strategy and creative work. As primary cross‑functional contact for consumer insights, stewardship, category growth and brand design, you will influence enterprise initiatives and uphold high standards of storytelling, strategy and innovation. Day in the LifeAnalyze brand positioning and consumer insights Partner with VP Marketing to shape and communicate marketing plans Translate brand elements into plans and go‑to‑market strategies Develop annual and seasonal marketing briefs that inspire agencies and channel teams Work with Brand Design to bring communications frameworks to life for the entire marketing team, including agencies Own the day‑to‑day relationship with the Creative AOR, managing strategy and communications projects Manage strategy and communications budget, internally and within the larger agency SOW Produce strong multi‑channel marketing plans and excellence Supervise two employees directly Partner with Consumer Insights and Category Growth to inform strategy and marketing KPIs Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions Ideate innovative growth strategies with Marketing Leadership Align the marketing team around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics Knowledge, skills, and abilitiesBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field 7+ years of relevant marketing experience, including brand planning and marketing strategy Proven experience managing external agency partners and marketing budgets Ability to operate independently with limited direction Excellent verbal communication skills Excellent writing skills BenefitsWe offer outstanding benefits to our employees.
